Whew!

I'm so glad that Memorial Day weekend is over! It was fun, but I'm tired from my long weekend! My inlaws were in town for the kiddo's baptism on Sunday, so it's been one thing after another. I have gotten a lot of work done on my LBFF sock, and I should finish it up tonight.

Here's a list of things for today....

Things I Don't Like So Much
- Coming back to work after a long weekend
-Stacks of mail
- My desk (can't see it for all of the paperwork)

Things I LOVE
- The Girls Next Door
- Little kiddie crayon drawings
- Diet Sunkist
- Red Starbursts

I've been tagged!

Jackie tagged me...so here goes.

The rules: Each person tagged gives 7 random facts about themselves. Those who are tagged need to write on their own blog those 7 facts as well as the rules of the game. You need to tag seven other people and list their names on your blog. Then you leave those you plan on tagging a note in their comments so they know that they have been tagged and to read your blog.

1. I'm allergic to maple syrup. Well, actually, all things maple. It truly puts a damper on eating pancakes.
2. I have freakishly long toes. They really could be fingers. I should be knitting gloves for my feet.
3. I've eaten fried squirrel. Yes, I know that automatically makes me a redneck, but I'm okay with that. I do other redneck things.
4. I went to Disney World with our marching band when I was a Sophomore in high school. As I was going to ride Space Mountain for the fifth time, I saw a huge commotion. It was Michael Jackson.
5. I was married in Jamaica. Just me and the hubby. (and I was 5 months pregnant.)
6. The lead singer for Widespread Panic held a hotel elevator open for me as I was leaving my room to go to...a Widespread show. This was after I chased the bass player down in my car in the parking lot. I have pictures. Somewhere.
7. I have an excellent sense of direction.

ok...who shall I tag?

1. Sydney http://www.doctordirt.com/blog/
2. NotScarlett http://notscarlett.typepad.com/notscarlett/
3. Tara http://www.tarasknits.blogspot.com/
4. Wierdlings http://www.wierdlings.blogspot.com/
5. Mama Turtle http://iamthemamaturtle.blogspot.com/
6. Tammany the Yarn Diva http://operayarns.blogspot.com/
and
7. Kraftie http://kraftie.wordpress.com/

Go forth and blog!

Saturday's Alright for Knitting

Well, the Twist and Shout sock...NO MORE. Frogged that baby. I think it was more "knitter error" than anything, but it just wasn't working for me. I've decided that the Little Bunny Foo Foo is so gorgeous that I'm just doing a...sock. No pattern. Just sock.

I'm going to try to take some pics this weekend to update my Ravelry site. I heart Ravelry, but I just haven't had the time to update as much as I'd like.

Until later...

Happy Post Mother's Day!

My Mother's Day Weekend couldn't have been any better. It was the first weekend in almost a month that I had absolutely NOTHING planned. I finished my Jaywalkers, worked on my Twist & Shout, ripped out the T&S, restarted the T&S, ripped out the T&S, and restarted the T&S. (I really should think about swatching.) Saturday, I had some well deserved pool time, after which I turned a nice shade of maroon. Sunday, after church, I sat on the porch and knit while the boys played in the pool. My Mother's Day present was an iTunes gift card. My boys totally know how to make me happy...music and yarn!

So...on with the week!

Long time...no blog

It's been awhile. I've finished a lot of socks since the last post. So many, in fact, that I'm going to have to go back and see what fo's are lying around. I recently finished a pair of Jaywalkers in Patons Kroy sock. And then I promptly cast on... a pair of Jaywalkers in Patons Kroy Sock! I'm one original beeya.

Also on the needles...the Twist & Shout sock in Little Bunny Foo Foo (STR) and the never ending Clapotis. I'll be working on that one until the end of time.

Since I haven't blogged in awhile, I want to do something fun.
